Description

The FR SKATES Igor is the pro model skate designed for high-level slalom-battles. The FR SKATES Igor deliver unmatched precision, responsiveness and support, making it the ultimate choice for demanding freestyle slalom skaters.
The matt black upper of the FR SKATES Igor boot is made of a very fine semi-soft, Carbon Fibre shell matched with a black Carbon Fibre cuff. Carbon is used 1^st) due to its rigidity and 2^nd) for extreme weight reduction in comparison to plastic skates. The interior of the skate has an anatomical padding made of Lycra to satisfy all your comfort needs. Lycra offers higher friction resistance and provides the superior comfort.
The area around the heel has been recessed to give you an excellent heel lock and to help you to stop any foot movement internally. Underneath the heel of the FR Premium insole is an additional exchangeable FR SKATES HDS shock absorber.
The 4 point closure system has at 1^st) black lace eyelets at full length: from toe to shin. The lacing system has been completely designed for enhanced foot hold: the top three eyelets are set on an external reinforcement layer, ensuring better tightening, more even tension distribution and improved foot wrapping, 2^nd) a black toe Velcro-strap to tighten your instep, 3^rd) a black Velcro mid-strap and 4^th) a black micrometric buckle giving you an exceptionally secure fit at the ankles with great support.
The frame of the FR SKATES Igor is the lightweight FR Deluxe V3 black Rockered Frame in matt black made of very rigid for great energy transfer 7000 Aircraft- Aluminum. By its default ice-profile, the external wheels are up to 4 mm higher in position than the inside ones. The axes are embedded for protection against injury. The length of the frame is 231 mm up to size UK 6 and loaded with 76 mm/ X-firm 83 - 85 A FR JUNK Freestyle wheels. Size UK 6.5 and above have 243 mm long frames and 80 mm/ X-firm 83 - 85 A FR JUNK Freestyle wheels. The transparent wheels are U-shaped and have a charcoal core. They are powered by liquid lubed 608ZZ TWINCAM ILQ 9 Slalom Pro high-precision bearings.
